Jonathan Adams found guilty on an indictment for breaking into the dwelling house of Joseph Dyson in the parish of Nazeing on 19th October 1773; and stealing therefrom a pair of silver shoe buckles (valued at 10/-), a pair of stone buttons set in silver (valued at 1/-), a silver watch chain (valued at 5/-), 2 stone seals set in silver (valued at 2/-), a linen purse (value at 1d), 7 silver half crown pieces, 2 silver groats, a silver three penny piece, a silver two penny piece, a silver penny, a metal snuff box (valued at 1/-), a linen shirt (valued at  4/-) and a pair of buckskin breeches (value at 10/-).
